NOMU Japanese restaurant & wine bar

My family and I had one of the most perfect lunches here. The restaurant is by the water, the chic decoration and the ocean as the back drop complemented each other. The food was served quickly, fresh ingredients and all dishes were full of flavour. The service was the best I have had in a while. The waiting staff were helpful and very tolerant of children. My child fell off her chair (whilst trying to use it as a climbing frame to watch the sea) and the waiter dashed over to help her. They were regularly refilling our glasses with water and checked the food was to our taste. Both kids and adults had a brilliant lunch. Price was reasonable especially with the high standard of table service. I hope everyone else has a similar experience!

Overall a great experience with an amazingly friendly service and hospitality! The location is awesome with a great view and the food is just delicious - one of the best sushi places around. I recommend the Dragon Rolls or Crispy Maki roles especially as a tempura / sushi lover - besides the california roles of course. Also the wine card offers more variety than other restaurants in the area. Especially the care taking also of our son (3 yo) was amazing and he as well enjoyed a great time there. Each time we were offered a child seat pro-actively and we were asked whether they should service sth. in advance for the kid. Anytime again!

One of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a long time. The food is amazing and you literally cannot order anything wrong, since everything is so tasteful and fresh! Christian is just the loveliest person ever and he has recommendations for any kind of food preferences. A must go-to when you’re in Novigrad! We‘ll definitely come back!

Had an amazing experience! Both the service and food were outstanding. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We also got some recommendations from them on some of the foods, and we were pleased and satisfied. For starters, the soup was an interesting blend of spices and ingredients (in my own taste). We tried the slow cooked pork gyozas (the best ones so far) and the beef ones, you can't miss with them. Along with the beef katsu which would melt in your mouth with each bite, the sushi had really good quality fish, crab, and shrimp. And to finish with a bang, their tiramisu and lava cake were outstanding. Can't wait to visit again.

Absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere. They really nailed the japanese meals and cuisine. The sunny weather and ocean wind really made everything even more perfect. The service was amazing. Will definitely come back.

Super fresh and delicious food! The sea-view ambience is simply amazing and makes the visit truly special. Our waiter Dodo was very attentive and friendly – he rounded off the experience perfectly. Always a pleasure to come back!

It was our first visít in a Japanese Restaurant. That was a good choice. The waiter was really kind, not too much, but always available. Honestly, the duck wasn’t remarkably outstanding, I recommend to choose other dishes. Beef gyoza was surprisingly delicious. We ordered one more after tasted it. Sushi and Wok chicken also met our expectations or more. The crown of our dinner was the dessert. Lava cake, cheesecake and mochi were perfect. The atmosphere is really relaxing and it’s like you were in a whole’nother peaceful planet. I highly recommend this place!!!

We visited NOMU and were absolutely amazed! The seabass, Rainbow Roll and Duck Roll were beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and bursting with flavor – a true highlight. The atmosphere is simply stunning: the restaurant is located at the end of the street, it’s spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room between tables – unlike many other places. The music was absolutely breathtaking and created the perfect vibe. Special thanks to Dodo, who made our evening unforgettable with his warm and professional service. NOMU combines top-quality food, a wonderful ambiance, and excellent service – highly recommended!
